The Nigerian culture adores much value on different types of art that includes carving, grass weaving, leather and calabash as well as glass and metal works. Another thing to consider is the issue of stereotypes, even when taking care of patients they will have a negative perception towards African nurses. Adopting other cultural beliefs, especially that of Canadian will take time. They will influence the environment that embraces diversity and equality. These beliefs lead into cultural differences that might affect patient assessment teaching and outcomes. It is also crucial to try to understand the concepts of health and health practices used by the Canadian culture.
